Hey guys,
Beginning of this winter I bought my first sled and a bunch of you guys helped me get the carbs cleaned. I did that and it ran good, but it was running a little rich on the outter 2 cylinders. So I pulled the carbs off yesterday and set all the fuel/air screws to exactly 1.5 turns out and put new spark plugs in. It runs a lot better! Power is there when I hit the throttle. But running about 20 -30 mph it starts to run a little rough. Like it feels like the motor has a slight miss or something. But goes away if I speed up.
Also, if I'm riding the sled around and it's warmed up good, then shut the sled off. Wait about 1 minute, it'll take 5-6 pulls to start back up where as everyone else takes 1 pull. And it's done that since I got it.
When it first starts, it sounds like it's barely going and the lights are real dim, then I tap throttle and it runs normal.
My last question is, what should the idle rpm be set to and you adjust it when the sled is cold or warm?
Thanks guys!
