My buddy has 2 - 02 SRX's. One is stock. The other has Hauck stage 2 porting with milled heads, bored carbs, and power inc pipes running the stock silencer. Took both sleds out for testing. The stock SRX was over reving to almost 9,000 rpm but was still doing 101mph on radar. The modded sled was pulling 8700 RPM's. But we could only get it to 65 mph on radar. Could the DCS be the cause of the mod sled to only go 65. The indicator light on the modded sled doesn't work so we don't know if it is kicking in or not. It seems to be holding the RPM's straight through. We are running in a field with loose snow. The radar gun is working fine.

65 mph @ 8700, are hyfax stuck lol. wow dave if dcs was sensing engine failure the sled will act like the tors is on. try upping jetting and octane, see if it changes 3:16 (yammie tony)
We figured it out today. He never told me until today that he installed a Viper box on the modded 02. He heard about the timing curve being better for racing. It wasn't DCS capitable. That's why his light wasn't even coming on either. I had him instal the original box and the light works and the sled came back to life. Thanks
