body panel rivets

well after i smoked a rock off trail i had to pull the whole right side body panel on my sxr so i could get the belly pan tig welded... now its got to go back together.

how many rivets are involved in putting that panel on? i forgot to count and need to order them. and do some of them need a washer on the back of them where they go through the plastic?

I don't know how many there are holding the side panel on but there's a few guys on here that can get you the rivets,oem Yamaha ones.Crewchief I believe is one of the guys that has them and if I'm not mistaken he is in Canada too.

i already ordered the rivets from Yamaha, do some need a washer on the back?

yes everywhere the back of the rivet is in plastic uses a washer

Do you know the side of these washers? And can I just get them from a hardware store?

I just use washers the same size of the rivets from the hardware store

3/16 washers if you can get them in a larger diameter than a normal fastener one.
