So I got rid of my top end loss of power. Could have been my fuel pump (oil/fuel in pulse line and check valve), the fact that my floats were off by 2 or more mm
i pulled my sled apart because I had a sever vibration end of last season. Jackshaft bearing behind secondary was shot as well as jackshaft. Replaces jackshaft, new bearing and new chain case bearings.
Took it out to test today and it ran perfectly smooth and crisp. Went for a ride with my son (total of 285lbs ) lbs on sled and after 1 mile on a 20 mph turn to the right i goosed it a little, and it started vibrating some through the seat.
i took sled out by myself and it didn't vibrate. The only bearing I didn't change is speedo (it was changed 1000 miles ago when track was installed. This sled has a prox skid, I am wondering if I need a anti stab kit. Could the weight cause the front of skid touch the front of the rails?
Just note today was also first ride with brand new 8dn belt. Soaked in hot soapy water. I hope i didn't put a flat spot in belt. I am running 6+1 wrap.
Thoughts?
