My standard Belmont Yamaha clutch puller did not remove the clutch on my sons 96 Vmax4. Did not appear long enough--in fact it bottomed and buggered the 1st couple threads on the puller---I assume it bottomed on the jackshaft before it reached the bottom of the bore----any advice??? Thanks

Get yourself a quality hardened puller (I got mine from Maxx perf) if the puller will not get it off try packing some grease in the hole before you thread the puller in and let the power of hydraulics give you a helping hand.
