WOW! that must be some good stuff. I wish I hadn't just bought two cases of the NOS Racing Formula! Have you seen any actual test results? I think I saw a test of the NOS it was under 3 octane gain (12oz/16gal) Thanks for sharing.
last year at -20 degrees, my pistons were an absolute perfect brown.... Piston wash was beautiful I used 32 OZ for that fill up of 93.

This stuff is absolutely incredible. I have a 440 racing snowmobile that had some engine work done so I could use premium pump gas instead of 110 octane race fuel (9.64/gal). Long story short 91 octane was still a little too low and i could not get that perfect spark plug color even after all the recommended jetting changes and my own. I found this stuff and gave it a try and I am thrilled!!! It does just as it says, my sled has PERFECT spark plug color and it noticeably runs better, actually perfect! All the other octane "boosters" don't give you true octane number increases....this stuff does. Awesome product.
I would still be afraid to use it in a sled. I would like to hear some more opinions. You tried it in your sled?

Been using it for 4+ years. Most my sleds were set up for 93 and all we have in Maine is 91. I mix 91 and 100LL at home and use torco on the trail. They're all still alive.
I'm sure the nos will do the trick (it's better then most). I have not seen a test on the torco heard good things wish I could read an actual test on a knock engine.
Used the Torco stuff for years in my 780 motor. 8 ounces to 5 gallons of 91. Worked great for me.
Again I've heard many good things however this type of reply is anecdotal. Would love to read a scientific test result.
UPDATE: The same test car with 96 MON (100 r+M/2) fuel at the same boost settings as tested with the Torco pulled much less timing with the 96 MON then the Torco, so the results are: 91 r+m/2 pump fuel@20psi=~15 degrees of timing 10 gallons of 91 plus 1 bottle of Torco additive=~16.5 degrees of timing 96 MON 100r+m/2 'race gas'=~19 degrees of timing(might of been more need to check). My feelings about the product are that all its really good for is adding a can to your pump gas to add a small safety margin at the same boost levels you normally run. I wouden't use it with the sole intent of running more boost. For the cost of the product, just add a couple gallons of real race gas(C12, C16 anything 108+ MON) and get better results with the same amount of money spent. I was really hoping that it did what it said on the bottle(1 can to 10 gallons of 93=104 octane) but I knew it probably wouldent work, just been wanting to try it for awhile.

I read that it give the exhaust a racing fuel smell even with low amounts. Did you find that to be true?
Where are you going to get race gas on the trail catnviper?
Around here there are a few spots on the trail that have it(If there ever open) but I was asking because some guy on this site wants to run race gas in his stock srx and I was just trying to tell him if he only wants the smell to use klotz oil or a tiny mix of race gas to 93 or maybe a tiny bit of this stuff if it adds the smell. Personally, I don't put anything in the gas tank but gas, 93 premium. I can't remember the thread he asked this on. To me though, Klotz smells like Kleenix. 110 octane is easy around here to find mostly for boaters but $7.75 a gal. I do like the smell but don't use it and no need on a stock srx.
