so i been out riding the exciter quite a bit and mostly except it for what it is but can't get over the piss poor fuel mileage. prior to the season i replaced every bearing in the suspension. new slides, shafts. belt, complete primary cleaning, shimming, replaced secondary with exciter II which has been gone thru, carbs completely rebuilt and properly jetted, nice tan color, it runs fantastic but super crappy mileage. it has the twin psi pipes on it and there too loud for me and will remove next season but starting to wonder if there helping kill the mpg. i dare not lean it anymore then it is now not needing a melt down. im fairly easy with the thumb and 99% riding fairly tight twisty turn trails. is it just the nature of the beast? forgot to note mpg's are maybe 6-7
