Phazer 2 help

I have a 1991 phazer 2 and a 1982 srv 540. The phazer 2 is the 485 or 488, don't remember the correct size. The srv has a aaen 2 in 1 pipe on it. Will this pipe work on the phazer and if it will what should I change the jetting to?
 
The SRV pipe wont exit the pan in the correct place, so thats your first problem. The pipe may theoretically work, because I think the 540 and 480 run the same or about the same rpm. It also could make less power than a stock pipe on a phazer, I really dont know. I think most aftermarket pipes on Phazers call for a 110 pilot, and a size or two up on the mains, I cant recall exactly. Your pretty much at your own risk on this one.
 
Smitymike, phazer II is 485cc, 488cc was the Polaris Indy trail, common mix up.
Not sure on the pipe question but I do know care has to be taken when adding any aftermarket pipe to a Phazer.
The stock butterfly carbs have a lean mid range and the pipe will add to the problem, there is a mod out there to deal with that, also some debate as to its success.
I changed my Phazer to flat slide carbs, happy with it so far, have not added an Aaen pipe yet though.

I called Aaen and they told me it could work. The problem is the pipe for the srv is longer and will drp the rpm on the phazer.
