That is the link to the special stage and over all results. They'll update them after racers complete special stages (EK means special stage). If link does not work, you can find the stage results trough the giant webpage under TULOKSET which is Finnish for results. Hope this helps.

1. Special stage (42km) in on the way. Sami is just over 4 min 30 sec from the leader.

2. special stage (60km) results. Sami 13 min 16 sec behind the leader.

Allready 3 racers have been forced to retire from the race in the Historic class.

3. Special stage (70km) results. Sami is 22 min 27 sec behind leader after 172 km´s of racing.

4. and this days last special stage (28 km) results. Sami is running currently in 8th place after 200 race km´s, 27 mins behind leader.

Funny you to mention that Cain's quest race. My brother Sami was actually one of the guys whom helped to build those Lynx Boondocker 3700 sleds... Small world eh?

Sami noticed during maintenance that the older Phazer has better crank than the trailing arm one. Older cranks are better build and finished. Also the bearings are better quality. Sami has a 92,(?) Phazer what he builds up also.

Small world,Bet those lynx rear suspensions are way stronger than the doos rear set-up.Great info on the phazer motors.

Day 2 and special stage 5 just completed. Sami running in 9th place. Stage time indicates some trouble perhaps? Haven't heard from him yet.

Stage 6 complete. Sami in 12th place overall.

Special stage 7 in the finish. Sami is picking up the pace. 5th fastest time and currently running in 9th. Stage was 60 km long

Last special to go. Hope he makes it all the way.

SS8 and Sami is flying. 4 th fastest time in the stage and currently in 6th position. Great last two stages for the Phazer! Seems like his conditioning was spot on and no mechanical failures either.

He raced against 600cc liquid cooled machines. Last year he finished second. Sami will upload helmetcam vids so can see footage of the race. GIANT is two day race with over 500km's of distance.
