exciter 570 interchangeable parts

i was wondering if anybody knew if the cylinders from a 92 exciter with the marking 8AY00 would be able to go on my 89 exciter with the marking 82M00 it would be extremely helpful if anybody knew. if they wont then what cylinders and which years they are from would really help. im doing a whole top end and more then likely bottom end rebuild since the pto side piston seized up and then proceeded to explode and chuck molten aluminum all over the head and down the y pipe along with throwing bits of aluminum into the crank case.

8AY are 93 Exciter SX cylinders. They will in fact bolt up to your bottom end. 82M are 1987-88 cylinders. I would at the very least up your main jet. The 8ay cylinders have more aggressive porting and require a bit more fuel. 86M is what was used on the 89-90 Exciters and are the same as 82M except that there are no decompression valves on them.
