looking for some advice.put the bender pipes on my sled,55 pilots,150 mains,3.0/4.0/3.0 setting on the needles.51/43 helix , 22-40 gearing, 1 inch predator track.sled rips when its cold,10-20 degrees.but, it doesnt like to rev when its warm,20-40 degrees.should i change the pilots to a smaller size?52.5?or should i drop the needles to a 2.5/3.5/2.5 setting?what would work best for my sxr?thanks in advance. brian

You will have to drop the mains when you ride in those warmer temps.

Try one Yamaha size and see how the plugs look and the piston wash.

I always had problems with the 52.5's and ended up with 47.5's, it was just way too rich for the Benders. I also run the needles in the stock location. This is for regular cold winter temps and was fine when it got warmer also, might be a good place to start.
