Here´s my current project. It´s not a Yamaha, but it´ll have Yamaha engine.
I´ve found a lot of info from here for it, so I thought I´ll show you what I have been doing.

It started as an stock Arctic Cat ´04 snopro 440

Hello my friend :)

Looking good. Here you can find good info to put viper/SRX engine parts to gether :)

Here´s cleaned tunnel section. All it needs now is coolers and some plasticsheet.
Then I move to the front end of the sled.

My engine is from ´02 Viper. I have notched reeds, bored 35.5mm carbs, SRX 700 pipes, SRX 700 electrics. I use stock Viper cylinders for now.

I have both Vipers and SRXs CDI-box. I also have both Heads.
Which CDI-box and heads should I use? I think, with SRX heads I should use SRXs CDI-box?

Oh, I do have more than anuf cooling capacity on my sled now.

looks great, like the tubular tunnel like some mountain machines run
make sure you post more pictures as you get it done

nice, looks like you've got some welding skills. looks like there is snow where you are, anxious to get it together and ride it? how long is the snowmobiling season there?

Season here is about 4-5 monts. This winter it might be even 6 months.
Yes, I´m so anxious to get it ready, that it´s hard keep myself from doing shortcuts with it. I try to keep the same quality from top to bottom.
