Coolant issue I believe and newbie

There is a drain bolt on the water pump housing. It is right under the exhaust manifold in between the pto and center cylinder. It will have an extra washer on it compared to the other bolts on the housing.
 
Another easy check if not mentioned yet is to look down into the piston dome through spark plug hole. A coolant leak will wash piston dome clean, it will look nice and shiny. A pic of that plug would clear things up in a hurry also. Pic's worth a thousand words!!

Agreed. Pics will help alot. If you're going to put the opticool gasket then you have to pull the head either way. Pics of the pistons will help too
 
I know I thought about a pic after I blew off the spark plug. I looked down the hole and top of piston had normal carbon build up. Maybe this just happened because I started it for the first time in 2 years or so of sitting before I bought it.
 
I'm thinking of going over to harbor freight and see if they have a leak down tester that will work for me. Been wanting one and now would be a good time.
 
Ok will do thanks guys for all the helpful responses. The more I think about it the more I'm thinking It was condensation from sitting that staggs mentioned. Never thought of that.
