here ya go
77srx, I got your pm, I didnt think you were gonna change anything by the sounds of your post, thats why I didnt post anything more. I would take that hauck silver secondary spring and throw it as far as you can in the next river/lake you come across, use a yamaha silver or green. Go to silver, then if you can, go to green. I like to run the 8bu-00 with 4.5 rivet in the tip and a .8 aluminum in the middle, maxx performance white spring, 50/40 helix with a silver or green secondary spring, if you want topend go with green, but if your really hooking hard you will need silver. If your motor makes alot of power, you may need a bit more then 4.5 in the tip, you can simply use a 1/4"-28 fine thread tap and run thru the holes on the weight, then you can use hardware fastners(bolts/nuts/washers) and set up the weights to anything you may need. I do always use a tiny drop of blue loc-tite on threaded stuff so it never comes loose. I would want to be at a 23/38 or a 22/38 gear ratio if you want to be 120mph. Get the sled to hit 8100rpm right out of the hole and let it build to 84-8500rpm on top. Keep notes on what happens, where, how and what, pay attention to the tach, let me know how it goes and we can tune from there, have fun!!
