You guys are probably correct. Don't know anything about the sled other than it is a 94 with electric start and reverse. It was cheap and it now runs. Bonus..lol. It may be a few days before I can grab a pic. It's been colder than -35C all week and no relief in the forecast.

Looks like the single seat kit was an alternate on all versions of the 94-96 VMax 600 with the two up being standard.

Definitely a DX with single seat option.
does it have electric start and reverse? i’ve seen dx’s without the 2 up seat but they’ve all had reverse and electric start

Going to replace the pistons on the SX. Should I go for updated stock or SPI? Or Wiseco?

Did the recommended upgrades for a 94/95 600 include changing out the CDI to a 96 along with the pipe. Different timing curve and shifting rpm moves up to 8000 from 7600.

Nice looking sx there Norwegian. I myself would use the updated stock pistons.

Yes it is a very nice sx! I would stick to stock pistons to.
Thanks, yes it is very nice. But had a small hole in the pipe. Just put a litte copper paste over it for now. Will get it welded later.
I saw I think it was SPI, that are teflon coated. Tempting:

Ring end gap will almost definitely need a file put to it. Haven't ran across an aftermarket piston ring that doesn't.
