I recently purchased a 1988 (I think) Exciter. My son and I are having trouble getting the sled to start. Spark is good. It appears that it's not getting fuel, so I pulled the carb to give it a thorough cleaning? What is this plug (see pic) on the side of the carburetor? There were no wires going to it when I pulled it out of the sled to clean the carb. I also discovered that the fuel line that runs from the base of the bowl appears to have been plugged with a screw, but apparently that was done because of a power jet issue that these carbs had.
