Back to the SRX CDI and operating above 9000 rpm where it starts to retart. Is this not a benifit exspecially at that high of an RPM? On a long lake run the retarded timing should benifit the setup shouldn't it? Along the same line that you would run a high speed retard on a race car motor.
Anybody have an old viper head gasket shim they can mail me? I alway throw away a gasket a week before I need it. I'm going to throw another shim in with my opticool to get the right quench. I almost think I should run orings in the oring grooves to eliminate the possibility of any water leaking into the grooves and into the cylinder. I don't think it is now, but it shouldn't hurt should it?
