I have a HH from CPR in my 02 and it is spot on - pulls hard from start to top - tach lays right on 8400-8500 rpm - Madmatt - what was the issue with yours? - what have you found that performs better? - I've had several SRX's, and this kit works better than any other one that I have tryed

The one I got from CPR had primary spring, secondary spring, and weights that he set up for me based on my weight, track, and gearing - all I can say is that I love it!
My HH weights
Yammiman: My concern with the heavy hitters was that I called Jeff and told him I wanted HH weights for my 780 viper. HE BUILT MY 780 MOTOR. I asked him for a set-up and he said he could do one better, he'd set them up for me! I figured COOL! I got the "kit" and put it in. It over rev'd terribly. After 4 adjustments and adding over 4 grams of weight to the tip I finally got it to work. I called Jeff back and he said "oh, I did'nt realize your motor was a 780, put 4 grams on the tip". Gee Jeff, thanks a lot, I already did that. Must be all the $$$ wasn't enough to make him remember me or my motor. Second, every time I called him I got a different answer, it was like he was still thinking about the last phone call. My biggest gripe about HH I will fully admit is strictly MY OPINION. The profile on these weights is not correct for Yamaha's, at least not my piped 700 or 780 viper. They pull strong low and mid but have no top end. You can't get enough weight on the tip to make them do what they should upstairs. I have spent plenty of $$ on clutching my viper this year and I'm still not satisfied and probably never will be. If you want to chat about clutching all I have to say is that SRXMAGIC (tyler) is a good one to ask. Send him a PM.

Maybe they are not designed as well for the Viper as the SRX - all I can say is I've had alot of clutch set-ups and the HH has been by far the best over all performer that I've had - it don't stop pulling - I also had a Hauck #4 kit that was good but not quite as good as the HH - I'm always looking for improvement, so I would love to chat with Tyler! - my father has a Viper and I think the clutching is definetly different from the SRX's - more testing on the SRX's? - I don't know - are you happy with your big bore?

i have always found jeff to be great to talk to, we spent over an hour talking about the setup of his turbo rx1 this winter when he was out for the races on my lake (tichigan) in waterford. Tons of people were coming up to him and asking him questions, and he would answer them quick and then come right back to me to keep talking. Great guy i think. My uncle has known him for many years as well, back from when they worked at Reichards.

Madmatt my oppinion is that the profile is perfect. Aggressive upshift with tunability. They should work as well on a piped Viper as they do on a SRX, about the same power. I think if you keep working at it you will find a good setup. I can say that my SRX pulls like a freight train all the way to 115 on the dream meter and then I run out of room around here. Maybe a spring change or more weight might be the answer. The SRX motor likes alot of weight to make it really work and it just keeps pulling. I have tried lots of different setups, even had a polaris primary on a bigbore SRX which the polaris weights have the same profile as the HH's and it still liked alot of weight which worked very well. Actually better than the yamaha clutch with HH's and the same secondary setup. Keep trying I am sure that you can get them to work!
