I was planning to put a screen in front of mine and spray paint it gold, then inside put a plate starting at the bottom of the headlight housing and go up and back so cold air wont' cool my pipes but will go over the cylinders and into my pod filters, what do ya think?

my dads race setup 76 340 has the hole blocked right off. for whatever it is worth

On my 1980, I have the headlight out, and the hole blocked with black plastic. I use mine for both grass/ice drags and 1000ft speed runs.
