Lookin to make my 02 viper a f7 killer

yea def already got a maximum perf clutch kit, lookin for pipes let me know if anyone has some, and not sure what to do wit intake mayeb the king cobra intake in that kit

dropping a tooth on the bottom gear will take away bottom end, and probably won't add anything on top end because the stock engine won't pull it and it wont fully shift out

and remember that the more power you add, the more traction you will need. unless you have a ripsaw already, the stock power is enough to overwhelm the track. any more power and you will simply spin the track FASTER ;) traction and less wight is the best way to start , imho
i had a ripsaw on my 03' 121" viper which was stock at the time other than a heel clicker clutch kit. i was beating clutched f7's in the 660' drags we race here. at the time the track was pretty hard so I had it setup(susp.) so that i would take even the mountain sleds off the start.
once i got my pipes and head and reeds i had to uppgrade the track again to a 1.5" track to compensate for the power. if you go piped and race him on the groomed trails get a bigger track. set up your suspension for alot of transfer and you should be surprised.

Boondocker or boss noss nitrous system, leave it stock looking and stealth he'll never know what hit him :) That is looking like my plan this winter to keep some 800 rev's at bay :)

Heel clickers are a nice aggressive weight that will help get the power to the ground if you set them up right. You can put weight exactly where you want it and it will effect different parts of the shift curve. As for nitrous, it is possible to have a very reliable system if it is set up right, nos pro is the man for nitrous info around here.

Not Very Expensive, i have one on mine... Last year i was running against some f7s in the 660(viper mtn).. i was like w/e its only a race no big deal right.. I smoked it outa the hole man... i was about 5 skiodo Lenghs to him in the middle and it just picked up.. about 60ft from the finish he cought me, i just watched him creep up on me and pass me barley when the line came.. so i decided to turn my sled in the Race Direction, and hopefully i can do somthign with it next year.

Pipes, head mod, propper jetting and clutching. Traction is your biggest issue with em. But they are beatable, don't believe everything you read on hardcore sledder. Most of its bullshit. F7's are beatable. :WayCool:

yea i know traction right now sucks got 144 studs and still spinnin alot, does anyone have pipes they want to sell me?????? i need some

I'd go up to 168 on your studds, Look for pipes on e-bay if you don't want to buy new ones. Aaens are probrably the lowest on peak hp, but thats still what I'd buy. What are you running for a track? Where do you plan on doing most of your racing? The stock yokahama track is hopeless, 9830 with 1.175's or a ripsaw with 1325's is the way to go. the 1 inch for ice and glazed dirt roads, ripsaw for everything else.

i wwas thinkin of hauck pipes, do alot of racing in groomed fields and shit some times on the lake, just the stock track wit 144 studs
