My Viper runs very strong in stock form. I run HH's for clutching, a 1.25" 9818 Camo and have the TPI's. I had a chance to run one of those 2003 600HO's on Lake Gogebic, MI. 2 years ago. Now keep in mind I am around 205lbs. unclothed and the Doo rider was 140lbs soaking wet. He hung side by side with me to 80-85mph, then I walked away. Regardless I thought the Doo ran pretty strong. (eats gas like a pig though). BTW, I tried the green sec. spring w/ 53/43 and it ran terrible on my sled. I have yet to find a multi-angle helix that works good all around in the Viper. Believe me ,if you try the Heavy Hitters, you'll never look back. Set 'em up and go!!
Timebomb: is that triple pipes or single pipe you have??? Just curious about anyone running a Bender single.
PS: I just did a cold motor w/ throttle open compression test on my Viper two days ago. Starting at the PTO side it was 127-142-144, my Dad's is a hair stronger at 130-142-144. I know there are some Vipers out there with less.
