Whats up with the snowflaps that came on the viper? my dads vipers snowflap has the lettering fading away too... but on my 600 mine are like brand new
Remember making snowflakes with folded craftpapper, same concept! I used a large sheet of paper, creased it down the middle, taped it to my windy, drew the shape I wanted on one half , folded it at the crease and cut it out. Then I unfolded it , each side will be identical. Re-tape it to the windsheild and trace .VmaxSx600 said:1 question how do you get the dimensions so perfect on the windy? im gonna cut the top flair off of mine but i wanna make sure its now lob sided or anything

First, cut out some paper to the same shape as your windy, fold it in half so you have a straight up and down vertical crease in the center. Tape it to the windshield and draw the shape on one half, fold the paper and cut it.When you unfold it , both sides will be Identical! Dont take to much off on the first cut, you can always trim it down until you get exactly what you want.JUST LIKE MAKING SNOWFLAKES WHEN YOU WERE IN KINDERGARTEN!LOLNB-VIPER said:How do you go about cutting the windshield like that so that its even on both sides?
I used automotive body paint with an adhesion promotor that i got from an auto-body supply. Also , like Venom stated, paint the inside of the shield to help protect the paint from branch's and anything else.NB-VIPER said:I might attempt this if I can find the time and ambition. I like the tracing idea and using the same stencil on one side or the other. What kind of paint should I use?
