I have a 2000 SX 700R with a Bender CLutch Kit. The helix is a Bender 9760 trying to go to a 51-43 which I was told was a stock 2003-2005 RX1 helix. I ordered one today, but question the part number. Does anyone know the Yamaha part number for this helix? The part number I ordered was 8BV-17604-51-00 and would a 51-43 be an improvement over the 9760 which is a 49-45. Thank you!

Well if all your info is right... that part # is for a straight 45 helix. The 51-43 is 8FA-17604-00-00.

the yamaha shop I went to pulled up 03 rx1 on the computer and listed 2 numbers 8BV-17604-51-00 $100.88 and 8fa-17604-00-00 $94.04. Why the price difference? The reason I ordered the first part number was because I thought it had bushings installed. Thanks Change Up. How sure are you on that part number? DId you get it out of a book, web site, etc???? Thanks

I am sure about those #'s. You'd be surprised how good this site is for you. Here's the link to the totallyamaha tech page with the helix angles. http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/drivespecs/camangles.htm
