what else is needed to beat a F7

you think putting a 9830 track with trail picks is going to win ice races?it is a good snow track but on ice its just a wiper like any other track!if you want to be competitive or beat a f7 you cant spin.this used to be done with steel pencil picks and a shaved track but the higher horse power sleds today will spin 200 pencils on anything but virgin ice.and you know how hard that is to find.

You are going to have to read closer, I never said the 9830 was a good ice track, I said it is a great hardpack track and overall trail track. If you are going to do ice racing only, we have a brand new ".5 lug racing track in here that will just flat fly on the ice and not slip.

I guess I was assuming that he's just racing for fun and not going to a plowed, and watered track. Most races ya just pull out on the lake and give'r, see who wins, ya know?

add a cold air kit and you wil DEF. notice a difference..put some helix to that sled like a 56-46 and some 89a wieghts and hang on...been there..02
