Sorry about your luck man.
Keep your chin up. Have you checked the wires going into your cdi (think that's what it is called) above your left foot well? I had sparks flying out at me before on my srx above my left foot well. Thought maybe the secondary blew. Nope, clutches looked good and belt was good.
Turned out that I had two or three wires rubbing that go into the cdi. Sled was losing power and sparkin like a mother! I thought I blew her up. Fixed the wires and no more trouble.
Just a thought,

mul

sounds good, i checked my Clutches and everythign was noirmal, then tried again, Sparks got evan bigger...... only when i Jucied her(running on 2 cyls) But just before i was on a lake and the DCS light was coming on a few times, THEN i blew sparkplugs and then changed them, and after that the sparks Just started pouring out of the Left footwell.. i thought i seen somting at 1st but i was thinking.. I'm sorry about your bad luck AJ.

I read that, about "blowing a spark plug" in your earlier post. What does that mean, exactly? It certainly doesn't sound normal or routine - it sounds like the kind of thing that happens when something catastrophic occurs in the combustion chamber, like, a broken ring, or a hole in the piston from detonation. Otherwise, I'm just not familiar with the concept of "blowing a plug"...

Blowing a plug means...... Burning a plug, Fouling a plug... Jetted To Lean, Or to rich caused Spark plugs to fail, and you need to buy new ones.. in my case, i go threw spark plugs like i do gas.(i spend so much money on them!)

that sucks, sorry about the luck you are haveing. honestly, thats the sort of thing that happened with my old sx, and my viper (replacement sled) has stayed stock for that reason. want more power, buy a bigger sled :( not trying to give you a hard time, just what I learned through experience. hope things go better for you in the future. dont give up, just learn from lifes experiences and get smarted :) keep us posted!

man, i am also sorry to hear about your sled. its not nice to be outta commision.
but i have to say no matter how perfected modifications may be, there is always a large risk to take when modifying a sled. hope it all works out for you.
good luck buddie...

Burning out spark plugs.... sparks from the left foot well... running on two cylinders.... sounds electronic and/or fuel related to me. Not being able to pull it over sounds like it seized up though....

I agree... to fix it right you have to know what's wrong... which will require at a minimum taking the head off.

I'm with Eric on this one.

Sorry to hear about troubles. I learned the hard way years ago too. I'm leaving my Viper stock until I can afford a faster sled right out of the box. Stock is best. Modding is fun but you got to have a fat wallet for that stuff.

Thats me and my woman, Kimberley.. I am Running Stock Viper Head, With the Bender opti-cool head Gasket. i guess ill have to take the pipes off, and pop the heads off and take alook at whats going on downt here, hopefully nothign to serious.. but im not going at it till a while, too fustrated still, i can't stop thinking about it, Witch makes me Get or Be fustrated all day. i dont like Sparks, Sparks Means theres somthign wrong going on underthe hood... and i can't spend money to fix it cuz my dad is Trying his hardest.. and yes i need a job!
