Oil pump adjustment problem. Video link attached

I have having a problem with excessive oil comsumption and smoking. While running I can see oil spitting out of exhaust. I have a video attached. I went to adjust the oil pump free play which is supposed to be 1.10 inches but the most I have is a 1/4 inch. Is oil pump cable supposed to move the minute you hit the gas?

theres 2 lines u line up one at idol and one at WOT. try lining thoes up to see if it fixes it

Machine is a94 vmax 600. Where would these lines be located?

on my 97 500 they were right on the oil pump. ones on the arm that swings when u pull teh throtel adn teh otehr is on the pump. u line up the one on the arm to the one on the pump at idol and then hold WOT and make shur it lines up again at WOT. after 3/4 throttle the oil pump if full open any way i think not quite sure. i watched ur vid and it snoked about teh same as my 500. just check the lines to make sure they line up at idol

There is no indicator marks on a '94VM6,you need to measure the cable
length.

I have no adjustment left and only a 1/4 or so a free play. What can I do?

Do you have a riser block on your steering????

You need to adj your cable to this specification for a '94 v-max 600cc;

27-29mm(1.06-1.14 in)

I would use the leaner side(29mm or 1.14 in) if i were you.

i did install a 2 inch riser but it was like that before. I just need to run it hard then do a plug check.
