I mean that they made that sled so there isnt really a lot to be gained. the pipe and silencer are pretty well tuned as far as they can be with the rest of the motor. there is nothing left there to be gained without getting tripple pipes. but then the cdi is really tuned for a single pipe. in comparison, the non valved tripples had some gains to be made from reed spacers, not needed in the viper. the sled has a good factory setup. if your friends sxr is keeping up with it, either his is setup great or yours isnt at all
