Yea, those mag articles are B.S. They always pump up the new sleds like they are some sort of modern marvels, then next year they will say they really could have used some improvements!!! Amen. The magazines are continuosly trying to push the sale of new sleds by making every year seem 100% better than the last year. They do this by bashing last years, and blatantly lieing about this years. it's a complete crock, until we see some hard numbers we wont know forsure. we've seen the numbers on the grass and that should be an inkling tho.

I meant the invitational that was when others brought the sleds and went down the track with radar. I agree about the articles though. only one I really read with interest is snowtech, they seem intelligent and fair

What amsnow mag are you ref to? december?

the feb one. on page 31 they have 2006 apex. only listed mod is Simons CPR Supertune Clutch Kit. stock suspension front and rear. stock intake and exhaust. obviously an asphalt track. and it posted 11.044 @ 117.91 mph. sounds fast to me! to compare, an 800 rev with about 100 less pounds, stock suspension, stock intake, and aaen pipe was 11.24 @ 113.22.

+1 I've got to agree with that 100%. The magazines as SO full of it!

why dont you just race and find out? in regards to the srx vs 99 mach z i cant picture it i have a z and a srx and the srx has nothing on the z what setup do you have?

I had an mbrp can on my srx, I don't know what I lost in 1000' but I know I lost 8 to 10 off top speed, going off of my speedometer that is.
