This sled just seems to be powerless. Also in this thread:

Sorry for re-post, but figured may get different views here.
1 - replaced BOTH clutches
2 - Cleaned the carbs.
Took them off sled opened bowls up, sprayed carb cleaner down the jets blew it out w/ air, a few times, and re-installed
3- Cleaned reed valves, replaced gaskets on each. Both valves looked okay.
4 - cleaned out airbox
5 - Removed exhaust, blew it out w/ compressed air, seemed clear.
Stats..
Each cylinder has good spark, 120 PSI compression each jug
Without the clutch or anything on the PTO sidethe sled seemed to rev up okay, toped out at about 8k (normal??)
Once I had everything back together, with a NEW belt i strarted sled and gave her some gas. I wont know about the over 30 mph situation, and I stiull feel that was a clutch issue (at least part of the prob) but it seems the sled does not have the power it Should.
It feels like it take a while for the RPM's to climb, and even a few times the sled actually died when I pulled the throttle back fast from Idle.
Now, it is about 40 or so outside if that has any play on the motor acting how it is. And also only thing I did NOT do was change plugs, but I'm not convinced that this would make that much of a difference.
Could a fuel pump be weak? How do I test that?
Thoughts? I guess I wont know what it really does until I get it on some snow, but it just does not seem to have a lot of power when it up on the stand.
Suggestions? THings I missed?
