tunnel polishing?

Well, the tunnel is stripped; hairdryer and Goo gone took care of the decals and the aircrat stripper took care of the rest.

I will probably polish it either this week or the week after (my brother is getting married Friday so the whole weekend is shot (the aircraft stripper ate the paint like it was nothing).

I have done my fair share of polishing in my days (father and most of his friends are truckers), i have done tanks wheels deck plates sled exhausts, and chaincase covers. The best thing to do is start at your local truckstop or chromeshop they will have wheels and polish(jewellers rouge). Then you need a big angle grinder (mine is 6000rpm) you dont want it to be too fast or you will just burn the aluminum and distort it. i like the pacific yellow wheel and green rouge . have the grinder spinning away from you at 90 degrees to the metal and work back and forth away from yourself.
;)! :bling:
