They look "ok" (worn a bit) to me-- but--Better safe than sorry, they are cheap and easy to replace, go get some new ones.

I am unsure of the mileage. It is a little dirty ang I will clean. How hard is it take apart and reassemble by yourself

at ronnies.com they are 11.48 each. Is there a cheaper place to get the new shoes?

You can buy aftermarket for about a buck a piece. My dealer sells the genuine yamaha for about $10 ea. A lot cheaper then new metal clutch parts...
Easy to take it a part, just take your time and pay attention to what holes the spring lines up in.

Those will work for this year prob, but if you are not using that clutch yet and don't need it to get out riding soon i would replace them only a few bucks i got genuine for like 7 each or something like that, also check the bushings and ramps ect for wear.

Mike, I just did mine on the black 95 V-max up in Irons. You can pick them up at Rec& Leisure in Farmington or order them from Shadetree ( About $2.00 each). I could'nt believe how easy it was! There will not be any tension at all on the spring when you get the three nuts far enough out. Just make sure to put marks on everything before you take it apart. Mine were about as worn as yours. Two of those sliders were completely gone on one of the red V-max's, replaceing them made a huge difference. I just got back about an hour ago, the side streets and two tracks are pretty good up there but the trails sucked!
