I think this is the first step for yamaha gettin back into the sno-x biz in the U.S. This new phazer( I'm just guessing) is going to pop up at the races, and I don't think it will take yamaha long to get a total grip on it and come out with a factory racer. It really wouldn't take much to make it I.S.R legal as it sits stock right now. And I am sure it will be competitive. .................................Just a thought.
:yam: ;)!

Just looked on the yamaha website at the new apprel for this year and they have a team jacket that meets the I.S.R. legal orange specs................YEAH..............YAMI SNO-X IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yam:

I have a feeling that this new phazer motor could be tweaked enough to make this sled very competative in the 440 class. I really wonder if that is where Yamaha is eventually going with this.

It's not a 440 class. It's actually a 500 and 600 class, at least thats what I ran in MSXRA. The Nationals may be different. But at least I can get one and run the same classes. HHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL YYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Hmmmmm...maybe they'll push the issue that in MX, bikes with a four stroke (i.e., 450's in the 250 class) can compete in the lesser cc class

440's are not done. What they did is bumped the "mod" or "open" class from an 800 down to a 600. You won't see them get rid of the 440's
