Clutch Noise, Very irregular!

Hey Hammer,
You need a rebuilt kit from Royal Distributing.
They have the washers, bushings, weight pins and a few other parts.
The Kit is only about $25.00. Do yourslef a favor and just replace all the parts in the kit. Your machine will rin better and the noise will probably disapear.
 

Ya, im figuring its that too. Before I go get the replacemet kit, is there an aftermaket one that is also a clutch kit type deal?, like with the new bushings and springs and what not?
 
you are talking two different clutch type kits.
I have never seen a kit with bushings, pins, washers and spring.
The kit at Royal is only $25.00 a new spring is about $15.00.
That is only $40.00. Rollers and weights are a different thing and are costly form Yamaha.
 
you need a new belt dude. same happend to me it was the same noise your describing but i described it as a loud clicking. its cause your belts to warn. i put a new belt on mine you could try it
