Ripsaws and hacksaws are great tracks, don't get me wrong because I have tried just about every track there is out there, however, if you have never tried the 9830 sixpitch 1" track, you wouldn't know that it is probably the best track their is out there. I have run them all, the ripsaw does very well in hardpack but just digs a hole when you get in powder. Also, the ripsaw is known for taking a lot of MPH off your topend. The hacksaw is also a very good track and hooks up extremely well on hardpack but has the same problem as the ripsaw in the powder. The sixpitch design's advantage is it is capable of getting out of the hole as well as a ripsaw or sixpitch but it doesn't shave off the top speed MPH and it does better in the powder because the design of the track. We have raced all three of these tracks together at the same time and the sixpitch always comes out on top. Not to mention that the Sixpitch is the least expensive. Personally, I don;t think you can go wrong getting either of these three tracks, but, We have found the best performing one to be none other then the sixpitch.
BTW, the difference between the hacksaw and ripsaw is that the ripsaw comes in both 1.25" lug and 1.5" lug and the hacksaw comes in a 1" lug. Also the profile of these tracks are slightly different but they are based on the same design.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be glad to help you out.
