Wanted to attempt a ride this weekend but am not in the mood to drive 5 hours to find nothing on the ground. Is there anywhere in Maine to ride or do you have to spend your life savings and get a Canadian pass. 45.00 bucks a day is out of my budget right now. Thanks for any info you might be able to add. ;)!

Another part with no snow ever this year. This is the first year i havn't ridden around my house. Ever! I grew up in Falmouth, which is right next to Portland but I bought my first house in Lisbon falls last Nov. so thats home now.

i live in milo. i did 400 aroudn my house and on the river in my back yard. another 400 was out of rockwood up on moosehead and the loop trails

I took from this site that there's still a bit of ridin in the most northern parts of maine to be had. I've put on 500 or so miles this year and thats just b.s.! I craving at least one more ride even if I have to cross over the border. Its expensive for passes and all the other stuff but Canadian trails kick asss. They were a lot of fun!

northern riding

The only places to ride right now in maine are here in the St. John Valley. This includes, Van Buren, Madawaska, Fort Kent, and St. Agatha (All an hour north of the Caribou/ Presque Isle area, which has little snow left). WE still have 1.5 to 2 feet left so come and enjoy while we still have it. The trails are looking great.

i have been up north, good riding on thurday, has been cold ever since.

im leaving for the weekend up there right now. not sure where we will stay,

pm me your phone no if any ty members are going up and ill call you to meet for a drink or a ride(but not at the same time)

ill get my wife to give me the numbers.

you can leave out of caribou but it is leave only conditions, icy and rough. long lake area north is great, lake is icy but all around the sides are good,

this might be it guys so come on up

just got reservations at long lake motor lodge, they have one more room left.

my room is under darryl white

no my other brother darryl is not with me

would love to squeeze one more ride in, but i think it's over for the season for me. maybe by some slim chance we'll get wacked with a good foot or two-- it's happened before in april- then i'd be all over it! haven't summerized the sled just yet. good luck though ;)!

northern maine

They are still grooming up here. make your reservations at long lake motor inn, martin's motel, or gateway motel while you can. Trails are great.
