Seat is original with no cracks or tears. I have owned this sled for the past 14 years. I have showed this sled at Vintage Snowmobile Shows in Michigan only. Sled ran fine at last show in 2005. Extra parts included in aution are: New Cover, 2 water pump belts, 3 Spindle Rubber Hoods. I have purchased another sled and I need the space. This sled is in very very Good conditon. Please email me with any questions you may have on the sled. Good luck bidding.

77 SRX WERE NOT LIMITED BUILT. THEY WERE THE FASTEST AND BEST OF ALL THE SRX, 440,s YOU HAD TO RACE FOR YAMAHA TO GET ONE. YOU CPOULD NOT WALK IN A DEALERS AND BUY ONE OFF THE SHOWRROM FLOOR UNTIL 1978. HESE WERE NOT LIMITED. MANY WERE EITHER SOLD FOR RACING ONLY. 77 SRX ARE VERY COMON. THIS SLED WILL PROBLEY END UP GOING FOR $6500. THE 1976 SRX WAS LIMITED, YAMAHA MADE 500 340,s AND 500 440,s !! 3:16 (tony)

SR's
I know there were only 113 '73 sr's like mine made for each engine size. 292;433; and 643. The 71 and 72's are really rare. A buddie of mine has a '72 SR433 running alchol sitting in his collection

71 SR IS MOST DESIRABLE BECAUSE THIS WAS YEAR THE TRAPP BROTHERS RACING ON THEIR OWN WITH A SR 433 WITH OUT FACTORY SUPPORT BEAT THE HUGE SKIDOO FACTORY TEAMS WITH THEIR 800 BLIZZARDS ! 3:16 (tony)

Here are some SR numbers from Clay Stroup.
He's done alot of work (years) looking for all the SR's that are still around.
He knows this isn't all of them, but all he's found so far.
