I beat pro-x 600's all the time with my single piped 97'700sx. Only mods were head gasket mod,reed spcrs,clutching, can, camo track/144studs. Beat the pro-x out of the hole and was about 2 sled lengths ahead in 1000ft. The pro-x's were clutched and had a can. If your sxr is properly set-up you will not have any troubles.

are we talking about the same 00 polaris 600 xc sp cause my cousin has one in great shape with talked about mods and my sx 600 with same mods eats him up

One was a 00' 600 and the other was a 01'. The liberty motor came out in 02' which i think had 8-10 more hp's.
