Ok,
I just got off the phone w/ Heath.
As you all know Dynoport purchased Beder Racing. Bender will be run as Bender Racing. Mike and Heath will be running the show. When you call, it will be one of those two that will answer. They are going back to what worked for them in the past ALL YAMAHA. No truck turbos or crap like that.
Right now the are packing up the new shop and moving back to the Colder shop. They should be up and running in 2 weeks, When you call the phone # on the website it will be directed to the old shop. Right now they will pick up the phone but are very very limited on what they can do.
Heath did promise more and new Viper products. Along w/ stuff for the 4-stroke crowd. We did not talk about the suspension but I would think that project would be brought back alive.
So thats what I know. I just spoke to Heath now 15 mniutes ago.

Does anyone know if the tech from the Bender web site is available anywhere else? I am looking for some information on the detonation detection system with their pipes.

I spoke with a rep at Bender on monday they said their site would be back up in a week or so . Redesigning it I guess . i hope they arent going out ,
I NEED PARTS !
 
i just spoke with a Mike ( I think his name was Mike ) at Bender , they have been sold but business is as usual for them just new owners . Thats good news .
 
I just ordered a helix from Heath at Bender on Tuesday. He said they are running it out of Tim Benders home. Terry Paine is no longer the owner. Heath is a great guy to work with.

I will just wait out the week, (it is going to hurt me) as I think I can wait that long to get my sled together. Thanks!
 
was @ benders yesterday. the new place looks great. web site will be back up soon. they have to get the pass codes from terry.

We need someone to start making parts for the 96 and older sleds. Bender stopped making them. I wonder if they could sell plans and have another shop keep making these parts. There is still a ton of these older machines out there. But why wouldn't there be. They are yamahas
 
will the quality go up on the pipes and silencers? I love the sound from my bender silencer but looks like it was made in a high school shop class. always thought I liked the idea of the bender single for the viper but quality might not be the best...
 
I dont know if this was mentioned in past posts cause I'm not reading through 8 pages worth of stuff to find out. BUT BENDER RACING LIVES, site is still under construction but it does say its under NEW OWNERSHIP AND NEW MANAGEMENT.
