Modular with an electric faceshield is the only way to go. I recently bought a Polaris modular (would have preferred a SnoForce modular but the SnoForce doesnt have the flip-down sunshield) and would never go back to a standard fullface or MX style.

I love the idea of a modular and if they become snell approved I will buy one. A helmet is only needed when its needed and I don't want to need one and have it pop open.

They guy at portyamaha swore that it was the best helmet. I was on verge of ordering 2 snow-force IV until he told me that. Evidently the Sno-force III is a HJC CL-12 and the IV is a KBC TK-8. So I started looking into the HJC stuff and found a good deal on the CL-SP.
I have heard that there were batches of the EXO that had bad seals between the lens and mangents that were bad on the sun shield. The port guy did say that when it was really cold and dusty he experienced a little snow packing the sun visor fogged up.. So maybe it was just the weather.

huh, maybe I will try it anyways. I have the original sno force right now. works decent, never had it fog (think it is just the way I breath though...) but it lets some wind through. not the warmest and I really like the sun visor idea and all the other cool features.

Scorpion EXO warranty/replacement shield
For those having issues with their Scorpions...
I called and found out that there was a "bad batch" of shields which leads to fogging but the shield not sealing to the helmet. Place I purchased from has replacements in stock so I will be stopping to pick up a new one.
Mine is the electric shield, not sure if it was only an issue with these or not?
Hope this will help with the fogging of the tint shields as well (my only other complaint on this otherwise great fitting helmet.)
Hope this helps those that have had issues!

I heard the same thing from Spicers. They told me the foam gasket was not sealing. This what happened to the one I had. They also said there was a batch that had the sun shield coming loose from the main visor. J
