bolts in viper head

you really need to invest in a service manual to help with everything on your sled. it is priceless. to answer your question, the long bolts go in the center bolt holes accross the center line of all three cylinders. ski

The reason those bolts are longer is you will notice the holes are machined for locating dowels in them, thus the threads are at a lower point in the cylinder and it takes a longer bolt to engage the threads properly, if you ignore this you will most likely pull the threads out when you tighten the head bolts and will need to heli-coil the cylinder to repair it, I have had to fix them for people before from this overlooked step!
