Hey guys, i found out what was causing the binding in the front of my skid. One of the hyfax screws let go causing the hyfax to drop a little, i guess i was lucky it didn't come off! Anyway now what?.............I have read about drilling out and using nut and bolt. Could somebody give details or better yet post pictures.............thanks...........James

I still do not know why not use an easy out? You drill it, then use the easy out, backs it right out!

on the trail one time, grapeape and i drilled another hole in the hyfax and then in the rail and retapped the rail. ski
Stainless Steel screws and nylock nuts really complete the job!ReaperSRX said:A picture is worth a thousand words!........thank you...........James

Got it all done, didn't take to long. I did have some issues on the rail that the screw was sheard off but in the end i got it to work. DoN'T know why with all engineering might at Yamaha they didn't come up with this to make it a little easier on the end user.................James

So they can sell more rails for those not willing to do the work, letting their dealerships do the install.
