So are you going to make it out next weekend??
We are headed to the UP this coming weekend for a week, so best case scenario for the ice will be the weekend of the 24th. If you want to try a couple of those helix's I can leave them out for you! let me know

Yesterday we went to the lake,my sled 99srx800 totalled grenaded two weeks before,so i was riding my buddies f36.We had his f3800 running like crap as usual(this is one finicky piece of *&$%,running pig super rich)He beat an f1000.the f1000 took off like a rocket but he hammered by 3/4 way down the track approx. 1000 ft or less just cones placed wherever.my other buddies f7 2003 was right behind it and coming on strong a little more track and he would have got it also.I would think a good running and properly set up srx would give them a good spanking provided they are stock as i assume this one was if not he must be one angry man.The only salvageable parts from my motor was the crank and 2 heads.4000 miles on big bore and 6300 on crank beating the hell out of it.crossover crank vents under motor(equalizers?) #1 fell out!!! even though it was supposed to be pressed in otherwise it would still be going strong spanking artic craps!

Do you have a 54/43 or a 54/44 Dalton? or even a 56/43 or 56/44? I'm looking for Dalton stuff they cut they them the same why Yamaha does.

No I dont, I never bought the aftermarket ones, instead I did the following, take off the lower part of the rod that bolts to skidframe, now shorten the top surface of it about 1/2-5/8", this will allow the transfer rod more gap and more transfer, fine tune to your liking by using the plastic shims. I cut the plastic shims(unless the super thick ones) and then you can snap them on and off without taking the rods off, cut them diagnally.

Tony I have a set of maxximum performance one's on an 01 srx I just bought if your interested pm me.

DON, MY PROBLEM IS THE OTHER WAY. NEED LESS TRANSFER. YOUR WAY THOUGH IS EXACT WHAT I WAS THINKING THOUGH. !! 3:16 (tony)

I think I only have one Dalton and it is someware in the range of 48/41 ish, you can try it but that one is destined for my SRX. I will look tonight, give me a call.

I've got a 48/40 Dalton. I'm using a 51/43 right now. I want it to shift a little quicker and load the motor harder out of the hole. See what you have and let me know.
