200 srx700 carb removal

look in the tech pages!! you take the airbox off, then close the carb heater, so when you disconect the two hoses it doesent leak so mutch.. then loosen the boots and take off the fuel lines.. in short.. then you take of the bowl in bottom of carb and you can see all the jets, take them out and clean with compressed air! then put it all back..

do you have to take any cables off(choke ,throttle) :winterrul

Once you get all of the items listed above removed, you may be able to simply flip it over without removing the cables. But honestly it will only take you a few more minutes to pull them off, then you have the entire Carb rack in your hands to clean and inspect on a bench where you wont have to worry about dropping a jet down below the engine.

Do it once and it gets easier everytime

just my 2 cents

Its very straightforward to do. There should be lots of information on cleaning and removal of carbs in the tech pages. Also there is a whole page on carb part identification if your doing this for the first time

When you`re putting the airbox back on, remove the upper part of the airbox so that you can make sure that the boots on the airbox enters the carbs properly.
(only takes a few mins and saves you for alot of trouble).
