1996 vmax 600 only reaching 7000 rpm

Hi..

i have a 96 vmax only reaching 7000 rpm/70 mph


i have 3 pri-springs only thing they seem to change is the engagment..

3700
4100


i played with the sec angle 50 and 60 didn't do anything i noticed.

all stock with Carbon tech reeds..
carb niddle 1 washer on top, other bottom.. clip on 2

jet is stock

compression test 120/120

runs very smooth.. just no top end..

any timming adjustments on this motor??
lift the carb niddle more??

Your primary seem to be overloaded. Try with 5 gram less in your weights and keep your secondary stock. You will see if this is the trouble.
