Hi guys!
Today I did what I normally critisize other people for doing.
Before this season I spent quite much time getting me SRX the way I wanted it. I really loved the way it looked and how it sounded.
But at one point I felt that I had changed enough sparkplugs, when I compared the amount of fuel my friend put into his RS Vector and the amount I put in my SRX.. I somehow talked my self into putting the sled out for sale.
I rarely sell stuff, I kind of get a strong "bond" to the veichle, but.. I dunno what`s wrong with me.
I remember when we went through the ice with the mountain max. I rode home as fast as I could to get more ropes.. all alone in the middle of nowhere. My company was the masculine SRX hood I was looking down on, the nice instruments light and the sound of the bender can.
She idled while I found the ropes and I jumped on her and headed up to the mountains again so help my friends.
When you experience something "dramatic" you often get a trong relationship to the things involved in the situation.
In the add I wrote "considering to sell" , cause I wasn`t sure if I really wanted to.
Several guys called but I said I hadn`t made up my mind yet.
Last night a guy called, he lived only 1 hour $ 30 minutes away from me.
He came to look at it today, he brought a trailer.
Took my SRX for a ride and said he was willing to pay me what I wanted.
Well OK I said.
And now she`s all gone.. .
I hope all you guy`s wount be mad at me for doing this.. you must not misunderstand me. I totally love the SRX, but it maybe wasn`t the best sled for my type of use. And I love two strokes and I wount leave this forum just because I sold the sled.
Tomorrow I will be visiting my bank and ask for a loan, if I`m lucky and everything goes according to my plan, I maybe will get an RX-1 Warrior.
It might sound dumb to buy a such expensive sled when you are 21 years old, but it`s what I live for and you only live once.
Before the buyer showed up I took it for a little ride down the field and shot some last shots.
Just got an SMS from the new owner, he was very happy with it.
Wellwell.. .
Joakim.
