They still need to be on that list. Something doesn't equate. When you look at that list even Yami lube is on there. Also there -58 is F not celcius. I know when you convert it its not much but Ipone has a better pour rate.

I have been running Interceptor for last 2 yr's since a friend sells it to me cheap. But like others have said didn't see the power valves any cleaner then with Yamalube. And that was even after adjusted cable from 20.5 to 22.5 mm. Was going to try Klotz but by the sounds of it wouldn't be any better.

right about now, I would be happy with as clean as yamalube compared to my luck with klotz! I guess I will check my cable adjustment as well, but it seems it wouldnt get way out of wack in the matter of a few hundred miles. what I mean is that I had no stuck valves, sucked out the yamalube and went klotz, then a few hundred miles later had a stuck valve. just frustrating

using it..

I think my valves were cleaner when I was running yamalube - i'm only getting about 500 miles between cleaning - I pulled them this weekend and they were just about stuck - I did some slow trail riding in there and that really gums them up - especially when its warm and humid - I think a can of seafoam in every tank helps, but i think you also lose performance. I think the advantages of amsoil are in the longevity of your motor - i've torn down 2 stroke motors that ran amsoil and they are spotless.

Guys Yami lube sucks for keeping valves clean. The first season I got my SRX I used left over ( from SX700 ) yami lube and to my surprise the valve got very dirty fast.Switched to syn and wow what a difference.
Switch to syn you'll be surprised.Plus you get that extra bonus of protection for all the running engine parts. Why do you think the top Car manufacturers put syn in there hi end high HP cars. PROTECTION and less wear. Us it its good stuff & peace of mind.

klotz is synthetic, its why I switched. you dont have to sell me on the synthetic, just that I want longer in between valve cleanings. went from once a season (2-3k miles at the time) to every 500 miles with oil being the only change

I wonder if any body ever used Mobil-1's 2 stroke oil, it's full synthetic
and you can get it at any AutoZone, i've heard good things about it
from people, has any one used this in a sled??? says
"A fully-synthetic two-cycle motorcycle oil, Mobil 1® Racing 2T is engineered for high performance on- and off-road two-stroke motorcycles. It also provides outstanding performance in other two-cycle, air cooled applications such as motor scooters, snowmobiles, chainsaws, and garden equipment.

thinking of calling M1 and talking to a rep...
PLEASE listen up!!!! I have been reading all your posts and it just DRIVES ME CRAZY (crazier than i already am) when you guys talk about powervalve cleanliness and oil in the same sentence!!! The oil you run has approximately 1 or 2 PERCENT to do with your powervalves!!!!! FIRST OF ALL,,, an oil that SMOKES like HElL works a LOT better than a (so called) smokeless oil!!! an Oil that is BURNING up in the combustion chamber does NOTHING for your powervalves!!!! (except dirty them up)... if you take into consideration of the FUEL QUALITY and BLEND (about 40%) and you take into consideration the trail (or riding) conditions (another 40%) and you also take into your driving habits and the TEMP,Relative humidity and AIR DENSITY (also elevation) (another 18 or 19%),, you would SEE CLEARLY why and WHEN your powervalves get their filth from.... Changing oil in MID SEASON will NATURALLY dirty up your powervalves during the END of winter MORESO than the START of winter!!!! I suppose i have to drill this into your heads another DOZEN TIMES for you to get it???????? How many people use YAMAHA ring free?????? How many people use STABIL???? How many people fog TRANS FLUID through their motors for the "storage season???" PAY ATTENTION when I talk about LUBRICATION and ALSO about CHEMICALS..... if I EVER TELL YOU about CLUTCHING and/or weight transfer,,,,,, DONT BELIEVE ME!!!! Gary Oles nosboy

I switched to klotz at the begining of the riding last year. I ran all the same trails, same sleeds and even got my gas from the same station. I even cleaned the valves when I switched. I hear what you are saying (and I used ring free all last year) but the only thing that changed was the oil before I had bad luck with the valves. thats my only real complaint about the klotz, was that I have worse luck with it powervalve wise than with yamalube. I know you have a LOT of knowledge about the sublect, but I am only telling you what happened to me in practice. any ideas for starting the season off right? atf, right?

I was wondering how long it would take you to smell this one, i really am not talking PV cleanness if you read back at my posts i'm just talking oil and how good it may protect a engine, i realize an oil don't contribute to pv
cleanness all by it's self but................it does to some degree.
if you've been reading our posts here what 'ya think about M1's oil???
i've heard ALOT of good things on this oil...

I LOVE synthetics,, ALL types and ALL BRANDS!!!! Mobil 1 is some AWSOME STYFF!!!!
yes, it contributes about 1 or 2 PERCENT!!!

so if oil is a small part, what can be done to keep valves clean? what do you do in your riding?
