Mine is far from ready too !
Still have the seat and tank off from installing tunnel protectors and my head is at Bender for the mod . Gotta do alot of tuning on the jets and clutch once its back to run their pipes .But all the extra ponies is gonna make it worth all the headache .
Im in search of a serious permagrin this year ! .
One freind bought a leftover Tony Stewart F7 last winter and spanked me with it . I think he'll have another thing coming this year , hehehehe!!!!!!!!

I dropped off my SXr at a local yamaha mechanic friend to have the water pump leak fixed. First time I have ever had someone else's hands work on one of my sleds. I researched the water pump seal change and decided due to time to have him do it for me. I trust he will do it right the first time. When the sled gets home on goes the 2" handle bar risers and handlebar hooks. Rejet the carbs and maybe buy a set of powermadd handguards. The 98 600XT is ready to go.

Post some pictures of the suspension after it is all powdercoated. I bet it will look great.

Finally ready!
We went up north Saturday morning with our quads in tow and when we got up there it was a nice surprise to see some snow. We drove by the shop where my sled was and the trailer was sitting in a different spot and figured on driving down a little later to see if anything had been done yet. We"ll after a few beers and so on I never went down there until today. My sled was ready so I hauled it back up, unloaded it and went for a few hundred foot rip. This V-Maxx has never pulled as hard and I"m ecstatic about it and now if the other half is going to hand me my *** she"ll have to push the thumb a lot harder. C"mon lakes freeze up and some more snow please!
