Where do I start..

Ok I broke a manifold stud in my cyl, drilled it out and broke an easyout off. #$%&* .

Gave up on trying to remove it and for fun called Bender Racing to see how much it would be to remove it and.

The guy at bender said around $50 hahahaahaha, I asked what the turn around time was and he said max 1 week. Ha

1 week went by after my tracking showed that they recieved it so I called them just to double check that everything was ok and they had my info. They said that they where working on it as we speek and it will be shipped out tommorrow and that we will call you tommorrow. So I waited 3 days and no phone call, so I called them back and the guy tells me that they are just working on it and it will be out on monday.

So I called back monday and got the same answer just working on it blah blah. waited untill the following monday and called them back the said It shoudl be finished, il give you a call back. No phone call now im getting pretty pissed of beeing lyed too.

Waited until thursday to blow off some steem called them back, and finally I got the conformation that it was finished and they are just waiting for the guys to bring up my paper work and we will call you tommorrow

so called the next day, and then they tell me they havent started it yet WHAT!!!!! . But it will be done on monday called them monday still not done waited another week called them back, they told me again we will call you tommorrow got no phone call so I called them. Not finished yet #$%&* . Finally after the same thing back and forth , I called and it was done on a tuesday the 13 of nov, so i gave them my credit carn info asked how much and

I was supprised again $119 plus stud and shipping. WHAT thats over double the quote I was real pissed kept my cool for a change and was so fed up jsut paid them. Paid $30 for express shipping to get it to me by the weekend hahaha

weekend when by and no cycl following week went by and nothing. just recieved it today, turns out it wasnt shipped until the 19th


So let some it up

THE ONLY THING BENDER IS GOOD AT IS LYING AND OVERCHARGEING.

total cost for a broken stud $200 :o| Could of bought another cycl....


oh ya I forgot they put down the value of the cyl and check off goods, so i had to pay $25 duty #$%&*

After I told them to put down that they repaired my cyl


Has anyone else had problems with them??????

i would have chewed them a new ars h*le over the phone and demanded
my parts NOW!!!!!!!, thats just un called for lying to you like that, atleast
you got your cyl. back in one pice..
 
WOW!!!! Sorry to hear about your luck Jay. I never had any luck getting anwsers out of them about the Mono skid they never produced. Havent been hearing a whole lot of goods words about them lately. Curious did they fix it so it would use the stock stud? Or did they just drill and tap a bigger size for that hole?
 
Ya im still pretty peaved Im going to give them a call tommorrow and chew them out now that I have my cyl. IM suprised its in one piece. They shipped it with a little bit of news paper and then just left a loos e stod in the box took me like 10 min to find it.

The drilled out the stud installed a heli coil so I can use the stock stud.

The cyl had a couple teeth marks it it from a vice or something. also looks like the melted a bit of the flange with a torch. pretty crappy job but it works and its on my sled.
 
PLEASE call the OWNER and ask to speak to him!!!! I know the guy somewhat and I'm SURE he'd like to go through the IDIOT who kept you hanging and screwed you around!!! bender isn't like that to people and he just hired an IDIOT who trreats people like CRAP and NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!!! He'll straighten it right out!!!! gary oles nosboy
 
I ordered a set of Bender pipes from another company. Turns out they have Bender drop ship their orders.
I took Bender 6 weeks to ship. I have also ordered an exhaust gasket 4 different times and have yet to see one.
 
called bender today supposedly spoke with them manager Mike. He said there going to to look into it and call me back, I feel thats not going to happen.
 
After reading all this crap, I will never do business with them!

I put a deposit on the monoshock suspension last year. Glad I canceled and got my money back.
 
Bender Racing was great thru the mid to late 80's into the 90's and until 2000...Thats it !!!
 
I dont know the whole story andI couldn't represent him properly.. I dealt with TIM a bunch of times and even SMASHED the heck out of one of his guys pickup's with my BRAND NEW 4 place trailer!! Call tim and have a talk with him!!!
