Well it just cracked lighting and thunder here, our little bit of snow is gone. So yes, you just made me jealous. Nice Pics, you are lucky to have that snow!
Thanks for the comments guys. The pics are taken from the middle of nowhere. The Gold Lake area in Northern California. Near Sierra City if you were to look it up on a map.
Those pics were taken on saturday before noon and it continued to snow all day and all of Sunday. Plus another 2-4 feet expected this week. Gonna have to put a snorkel on the sled to get it to run.
Wow! Now that's winter... we used to get that here in Northern Ontario.... I can't believe it............ did you say California? We hardly have any snow left here and we have been breaking records for today... and they are calling for thunder storms tonight!!!.... Honey.. I want to move to California! LOL Is this usuall weather for you there? Or is this a freak thing? Just curious before moving and all you know..LOL
Thanks for sharing the pics.
Well this has been quite the series of storms. I cant say this is normal but we get lots of snow out here...definitaly not a freak thing. 2-3 foot storms are pretty regular. What...do you all think californians are beach bums?? My 151 is practically a short track right now.
horkn - Nice, I went to Chico myself. The foothills around chico right now are all sledable. Never rode around there, but there are lots of trails up above paradise and towards Lake Almanor.
Thanks for what is, yet again, another lovely reminder that I need to move, the mountains is where to be. Great pics man, try not to have too much fun, as the rest of us resort to tv and hope for a good winter.
