I've cracked my second primary sliding sheeve on my 99 sx 700. The first one went 5000 miles. Bought a used one on ebay only got a few hundred out of it. It wasn't in the best shape. I'm at a crossroads on what to do. Should I
a) by a complete new primary (expensive)
b) by a new sheeve (rest of clutch looks ok)
c) by another used one (a buddy has one off of a 94 600,1700 miles. Will it fit?
d) I have a p85 and a p90 comet sitting in the shed. I've heard these can be made to fit. I know a reputable shop that can machine tapers. Is this going to be a nightmare to tune?
I appreciate any help.
